# Upgrade from any Windows 10/11 version to Pro

Upgrading to Windows Pro unlocks powerful features like BitLocker encryption, Remote Desktop, and advanced security policies. Follow these steps carefully for a smooth upgrade.

### ✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

1.  **Check for Windows Updates**  
    Before upgrading, ensure your system is fully up to date:
    
    -   Go to **Settings > Windows Update**
        
    -   Click **“Check for updates”**
        
    -   Install all available updates and restart your PC if needed  
        ⚠ This helps prevent upgrade errors and ensures system compatibility.  
        
2.  **Disconnect from the Internet**  
    Temporarily turn off Wi-Fi or unplug the Ethernet cable from your PC.  
    
3.  **Enter the Upgrade Key**
    

-   Open **Control Panel**
    
-   Go to **System and Security > System**
    
-   Click **"Change product key"**
    
-   Enter this upgrade key to initiate the edition switch: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
    
-   Your PC will begin upgrading to Windows 11 Pro.
    

4.  **Verify the Upgrade**  
    After the restart, check **System settings** to confirm that **Windows 10/11 Pro** is now installed.
    
5.  **Reconnect to the Internet**
    
6.  **Activate with Your Purchased Key**
    
    -   Go again to **“Change product key”**
        
    -   Enter the activation key you received in your email from us
        
    -   This will fully activate your licensed version of Windows 10/11 Pro.
