# Fix Error 0xC004C003

If you're seeing Error 0xC004C003 during activation, don’t worry — it’s a known issue that can occasionally happen with digital licenses, and we’re here to help you resolve it quickly.

This message simply means that Microsoft’s activation server didn’t accept the key — often due to the way the system verifies keys, or how the device was recently configured.

To resolve this:

1.  **Take a screenshot** of the error message showing the code `0xC004C003`
