# Fixing Windows Activation Issue  0x803FA067

This error usually occurs when upgrading from Windows Home to Pro or reactivating Windows after a hardware change.

#### 🔧 Fix for Error Code 0x803FA067:

1.  **Disconnect from the internet**
    
    -   Temporarily turn off Wi-Fi or unplug your cable.
        
2.  **Manually enter your product key**
    
    -   Go to:
        
        **_Settings > System > Activation > Change product key_**
        
    -   Enter the key you received.
        
3.  **Reconnect to the internet**
    
    -   Once the key is accepted, go online again and restart the PC.
        

#### 🛠 Other Activation Fixes:

-   **Already activated on another PC?** Retail licenses can be moved — uninstall from the old device first.
    
-   **Reactivation after hardware change?**
    
    -   Use your Microsoft account to reactivate:  
        _Settings > Activation > Troubleshoot > I changed hardware on this device recently_
