### 🔍 What Causes This Error?

This issue typically appears when:

- The Windows installation files are **corrupted or incomplete**

- There’s a problem with the **USB drive** or **ISO image**

- The **hard drive or partition table** has conflicting data

- The system doesn’t meet basic **hardware requirements**

### ✅ How to Fix It

#### 1\. **Recreate the Bootable USB (Recommended First Step)**

This solves 80% of cases.

- Download the **Media Creation Tool** from Microsoft:
_(or Windows 11 link for newer systems)_

- Use it to create a **fresh USB installer** (at least 8 GB in size)

- Plug it directly into a **USB 2.0 port** (not 3.0) for better compatibility

#### 2\. **Remove All Other USB Devices**

Disconnect printers, external drives, or dongles that might confuse the installer.

#### 3\. **Delete All Partitions During Setup**

When you get to the drive selection screen:

- Click **“Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)”**

- Delete all visible partitions (make sure you’ve backed up your files!)

- Select the **unallocated space** and click **Next**

Let Windows create the partitions it needs from scratch.

#### 4\. **Run a Memory Test (Optional)**

Faulty RAM can also cause this error:

- Press `Windows + R`, type `mdsched.exe`, and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic
