### 🔍 What Causes This Error?

This error typically appears when:

- Multiple hard drives or partitions are connected, confusing the installer

- There’s not enough available space on the selected drive

### ✅ How to Fix It

#### 1\. **Unplug All Drives Except the One for Installation**

- Disconnect all other internal and external drives (USB sticks, secondary HDDs or SSDs)

- Only leave connected the drive you want to install Windows on

Then restart the installation process.

If you want a full reset of the target drive:

1. At the Windows setup screen, press **Shift + F10** to open Command Prompt

2. Type the following commands one by one:

diskpart

list disk

select disk X ← (replace X with the number of the drive you want to use)

clean

exit

1. Close the Command Prompt and click **Refresh** in the installer

2. Select the unallocated space and click **Next**

- Enter BIOS/UEFI (usually `F2`, `DEL`, or `ESC` at startup)

- Ensure your drive is connected to the **primary SATA port**

- Try changing the SATA mode from **RAID** to **AHCI** or vice versa
